
Dora Fang is a
motorsports enthusiast, from rockcrawling Jeeps to roadracing motorcycles. She
started Adventure 4WD, which offered driver training and vehicle outfitting
from 1999-2003. After completing her MBA, Dora was an integral part of Harley-Davidson
Asia-Pacific Latin America, where she helped open the 1st authorized China
dealership, and transitioned the Australia and Mexico market structures.
Dora also worked on North America Sales strategic planning, including dealer
network assessment. After Harley-Davidson, she moved to Beijing to lead
the Mercedes AMG China brand launch through a series of consumer driving
events, press briefings, and dealer staff training in 7 Chinese cities. Most
recently, Dora was the head of business development and industry relations for
the P&A category at eBay Motors.
In
2009, she started Motorsports Maven to work with companies in the automotive,
motorcycle, and motorsports industry --- specializing in partnerships,
enthusiast marketing and outreach, brand authenticity, China market entry,
business development, e-commerce, social media, and technology.
Dora
studied Public Policy at Duke University, and received her MBA from the
Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She holds an (expired) amateur roadracing
license and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Dora lives in San Francisco
with her dog “Anna Belle”.
